Last Call for the Technical Meeting in Amelia Island

Maybe you attended last year’s Technical Meeting and you thought it was great. Maybe you missed it and heard the rave reviews. Either way, it’s time for you to get on board with the 2016 version of the meeting, to be held December 2-6 at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation in Amelia Island, Florida.

The brochure has already been mailed out, plus it is available online at www.sportsbuilders.org. No matter what you want to learn at this meeting, you’ll find it. The program is organized into topic tracks dealing with tennis, track, field and indoor facilities, plus general business topics and other trending information. Many of our sessions are accredited for professional continuing points.

Those who want to spend time in the exhibit hall will be able to take advantage of this option at ASBA’s trade show. Whether it’s brand-new, cutting-edge technology or longtime favorite products you’re seeking, this is the place you want to be. Plus, since the exhibit hall is the site of receptions, breaks and some meals, you’ll have time to see what you want.

Want to enrich the contacts section of your smartphone? You’ll get the chance to do it in Amelia Island. The Technical Meeting is the place to catch up with longtime colleagues or new acquaintances. With a busy season behind you and some time to plan ahead, the opportunity to unwind and get to know your fellow industry members has never been better.
Oh, and if it’s fun you’re looking for, there’s always the chance to take part in the tennis and golf outings. You can spend some time in good-natured competition with colleagues and competitors, and blow off some steam.

And have we mentioned the setting? It’s not last year’s desert; it’s this year’s tropical paradise. The Omni Amelia Island Plantation, a luxury resort on 1,350 acres with a 3.5-mile private beach, is our home-away-from-home for the meeting. The property features nine dining options, 54 holes of Pete Dye-designed golf, 23 Har-Tru tennis courts, a fully-equipped fitness center, a shopping village, pools and more.

Want to know more, or to sign up? Go to our website at www.sportsbuilders.org and check out the program, the hotel and all the other great information. And make your plans now to make the most of the off-season.
