Good Sports at the Winter Meeting

Normally, the Winter Meeting is reserved for working together, setting aside rivalries and getting along.

Until, that is, the sessions are over and competitions start. At the most recent Winter Meeting, held in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic (see adjacent article elsewhere in this newsletter), industry members and their guests enjoyed re-igniting their rivalries at the annual Golf Outing and Tennis Tournament.

Both events were held under sunny skies and were enjoyed by all who attended. As usual, they were the cause of cheering, good-natured heckling and fun times.

The Tennis Tournament, held on property, was sponsored by Har-Tru. Participants alternatively played or watched matches from the shade. (And when was the last time anyone saw a pro shop inside a tiki hut, anyway?) After the matches were over, Chris Allen and Jane Bogarty emerged the victors.

The golf outing, also held on the resort grounds, was a fun gathering with members were able to enjoy the tropical scenery and surroundings as much as the sport.
Still have some scores to settle? Sign up for golf and tennis at the Technical Meeting this December in Ponte Vedra, Florida!
